This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard information when you use the StudyThem mobile applications for iOS and Android (the “Apps”).

Information We Collect

We collect anonymous analytics data only.

1.1 Anonymous Device Identifier (UUID)

When you first launch the App:

A random, anonymous device identifier (“UUID”) is generated.
It is stored locally on your device.
It cannot be linked to your identity, hardware, IP address, or any personal characteristic.
If you uninstall and reinstall the App, a new UUID is generated.

This identifier allows us to group anonymous analytics events but cannot identify a user.

1.2 Anonymous Event Data

We track anonymized usage events to understand how the Apps are used, including:

App launches
Profile or timeline views
Search queries
Filter interactions
Content shares
Search result interactions

1.3 Anonymous Technical Metadata

We may collect non-identifying technical details such as:

Event timestamps
Operating system type (iOS or Android)
App environment (development or production)
Event types and associated metadata (e.g., search terms, filter selections)

This data is used solely to improve app performance, stability, and usability.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or store:

Name, email, phone number, or contact details
IP address
Location or geolocation
Advertising identifiers (IDFA, GAID)
Device hardware identifiers or serial numbers
Browser user agents or fingerprinting data
Any data that can reasonably identify a person

Analytics events cannot be linked to any individual because we do not collect personal identifiers or combine analytics information with any external datasets.

How We Use Anonymous Data

Anonymous analytics data is used to:

Data is retained for 180 days and automatically deleted afterward.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect all stored information.

We do not share data with external third parties except for essential infrastructure providers.

Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following providers solely for anonymous data processing and hosting:

Cloudflare Workers & D1 Database – for hosting analytics endpoints and storing anonymous analytics data.
Cloudflare R2 – for serving static assets such as images.

These services act solely as processors and do not receive any personal information.

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights regarding anonymous data associated with your device’s UUID.

Right to Access

You may request a copy of the anonymous analytics associated with your UUID.

Right to Deletion

You may request deletion of analytics linked to your UUID by contacting us, and we will process the request manually if needed.

Right to Data Portability

You may request an export of analytics data associated with your UUID.

Right to Opt-Out

You may stop all analytics tracking at any time by uninstalling the App.

To submit a request, please contact us using the information below.
You may need to provide your anonymous UUID (available in a future update).

Children’s Privacy

The Apps are not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user.

If you believe a child has used the App and wish to request deletion of related analytics data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

International Data Transfers

Anonymous analytics data may be processed and stored in the United States.
These transfers are necessary for operating and maintaining the Apps.

By using the Apps, you consent to these transfers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When changes occur, the “Last Updated” date will be revised.
Your continued use of the Apps after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
